Merry Christmas to everyone!

We want to say Merry Christmas to all our family and friends this holiday season.

We are especially thankful to everyone who has time at the farm during this past year helping us bring our dream to a reality. All the wonderful volunteers who have added insight, creativity and sweat to the project are making our job much easier to manage.

Here are just a few of the many friends and family who've added their special touch to our new home:
Steve Connors
Sheryll Herschberger
Mike 'Mikey' Keller
Bob 'Rooster' Mikrut
Dave Miller
Emory Miller
Genette Parsons
Anthony 'Sparky' Prochaska
Ray Roehm
Greg Spangler
Gregory Spangler

We're still a long way from the finish line but are pressing forward to complete our dream home and settle in by Spring. Thanks again everyone!

So much has happened since we last blogged!

A plumbing work of art in our master bathroom.Sunshines bedroom/bathroom and special corner shelf.
Upstairs bedroom.
Temporary stairs...finally!
Our friend Rooster continues helping us out with countless hours of volunteer work.

The outside deck and fireplace enclosure.
A hint of our green roof being installed...
A bench in our 4' x 8' shower!

Walls are finally going up inside the house. The fireplace is in and they are prepping for the stone work.

Nasty weather brought another snow storm and even the horses took shelter in the barn with the Jeeps..
Glad we don't have to figure this mess out. Good luck Steve! Most of the interior wiring is now run but this rats nest needs to be hooked up to the panel now.

Water issues...

We definitely need to get some roof leaks dealt with before we begin the install of the hardwood floors, cabinetry and appliances. Above is our master bathroom shower. Below is the master bedroom closet.
