Kitchen cabinets!

Our cabinets made their arrival via tow strap early this morning. Fortunately, the weather was sunny today and things are starting to dry out. That didn't help the delivery guy much though as his load was too heavy to make the hill without 4-wheel drive. Not to worry - tow straps are right up our alley. In no time at all, Rooster pulled the rig up to the unloading zone (front porch) and the before long, all the new cherry cabinets were lined up in the living room, ready for installment.

Dave Helmut and his nephew did an awesome job setting all our beautiful cabinets in place today. Mary Miller at Planks Cabinet Shop in Arthur measured and built the most amazing job of creating a dream kitchen for us. Tomorrow they will finish up with the crown moulding and baseboards.Dave and Rooster admire my 'mixer' cabinet complete with a 'lift'.
Rooster is thrilled that there are secret doors beneath the desk for access to the outdoor kitchen plumbing. Shhhh... they are secret.
